Your workspace stays yours

No API keys. No shared accounts.

OAuth connects the AI client to your existing Videoblitz account. The MCP server applies the same ownership and credit boundaries as the web app.

  1. 01
    Your assets only

Imports, uploads, clip jobs, and results remain scoped to the signed-in user.

  2. 02
    Your existing credits

Clipping uses the balance already attached to your Videoblitz plan.

  3. 03
    Revocable access

Disconnect the client without exposing a permanent API credential or affecting another user.

Questions

Before you connect.

What is the Videoblitz MCP server?

It connects Claude, ChatGPT desktop, Claude Code, or Codex to your Videoblitz workspace so the assistant can import video, create clips, and return finished results.

Do I need to create an API key?

No. Your MCP client opens the Videoblitz OAuth sign-in flow, and access stays tied to your existing account.

Which video sources can I use?

You can import supported remote sources such as YouTube, Google Drive, Twitch, and X, or upload a video directly through the MCP workflow.

How do credits work through MCP?

MCP jobs use the same credits as the Videoblitz web app. You can ask the assistant to check your balance before starting a job.

Why does clip creation continue after the first response?

Video importing and clipping are asynchronous. The assistant starts the job, checks progress without blocking the conversation, and returns the download-ready results when processing finishes.

Can I connect the ChatGPT website with this URL?

The direct custom-server flow on this page is for ChatGPT desktop and Codex. ChatGPT web uses its hosted connector and plugin flow instead of local Codex configuration.

Your next clip starts with a prompt.

Copy the MCP endpoint, connect your preferred AI workspace, and keep video creation inside the conversation.
