How to turn podcast episodes into short clips
Podcast clips need enough context to work away from the full episode. Use this workflow to identify complete exchanges or insights, preserve the active speakers, and prepare each selection for short-form viewing.
- Upload or import the full episode and select the matching speaker setup.
- Choose moments that contain a complete insight, story, or exchange.
- Review speaker framing and caption accuracy in the vertical layout.
- Publish only after the clip makes sense without the full episode.
Source the episode and set up speakers
Upload the episode or import a supported source into a project. In AI Clipping, choose single or multiple speakers to match the conversation before generating clip options.
Choose complete podcast moments
Look for a concise story, useful answer, surprising opinion, or exchange with a clear payoff. Skip selections that depend on an earlier question or end before the thought is complete.
Polish framing and captions
In BlitzEdit, check that the current speaker remains visible and the vertical crop does not remove important context. Review names, specialist terms, punctuation, and caption timing against the audio.
Review and publish
Watch the rendered clip from start to finish as a new viewer would. Export the approved version or route it through the publishing setup for the intended account and platform.
